Parco Sempione Park in Milan
Parco Sempione is a city park located in the heart of Milan, Italy. This park was created in 1888 in order to provide green areas for the locals in the town negatively affected by rapid expansion and industrialization. Parco Sempione is named after Corso Sempione: Milan main roads that existed since the time of the Napoleonic Empire.
